Final Blog Update!
It’s here — my very last blog as a FOCUS administrator. It has been a bittersweet season — I’ve truly enjoyed these last weeks with my friends and coworkers on the FOCUS staff while at the same time knowing it’s coming to an end. I am, however, very excited to start my new position at East-West Ministries!
Here are some highlights from May and June:
All the FOCUS staff who are transitioning off took a Transitions class together that was led by a former staff member! We spent a week together going over reading material and discussing our feelings about transition. I really enjoyed this time and the fact that the staff offers us this resource.
I had my last staff meeting as part of the SMU campus team! I absolutely loved being on this team for the last year. Time really flew by! God is doing some amazing things at SMU!
My husband and I had the privilege of spending a week in Honduras on a mission trip with our church. We were able to visit a village church and spend time with the pastor and his wife, as well as local families and church members. Our group also got to share our individual testimonies on a Christian radio station! I felt blessed by the people of Los Ciles and I believe we were able to bless them as well.
Our FOCUS admin team went out to lunch on my last day of work! It’s been a privilege to work with this group. I couldn’t ask for a better team!
I’ve been so blessed to be a part of the FOCUS team and serve the staff and students for the past two years! If you’re reading this, you have been a faithful part of my ministry and I’m so thankful for your prayers and support. I would appreciate prayers for my upcoming transition to my new position at East-West Ministries! As always, I would love to know what’s going on in your life and how I can be praying for you!
Much love!
