March 2024 Updates

The spring semester is flying by so fast! In just over a month, we’ll be sending over 100 students off to the Student Institute of Campus Ministry in Bellingham, Washington!

March was a month full of fun and celebration. My co-worker on the SMU FOCUS staff team, Renee, got married! Her wedding was a blast, and plenty of our FOCUS staff and students were in attendance.

Our pastors get a few days off for spring break, and this year I took some time off too. My husband and I went to Broken Bow for a weekend with three other couples! All the husbands (except mine) are currently pastors with FOCUS. We had such a good time playing games and cooking meals together. My favorite part was going to a petting zoo and seeing all kinds of animals — camels, goats, deer, and more 😍

Many of the students we are sending to the Student Institute of Campus Ministry (SICM) are raising money to fund their trip. If you are interested in helping our students get to SICM for a week of ministry training, follow this link!
