September Update!

At the beginning of September, my husband and I flew off to California for a week! We spent time with my family and got to explore lots of major destinations in the LA area, like the Griffith Observatory and the Getty Museum. I wouldn’t say it was the most restful trip, but it was good to switch up our routine for a few days. I’m looking forward to our next visit!

Meanwhile, our FOCUS ministries have been settling into a routine on their campuses. Lots of new students have stuck around at SMU FOCUS, which is so great to see. I went to my first fellowship meeting at SMU in September and it was very well-attended!

With November rapidly approaching, our ministry is entering a season of fundraising. It is almost time for our annual fundraiser, Keep FOCUS Growing, which is happening on Giving Tuesday (November 28th)! This campaign funds things like on-campus outreach materials and events, administrative support, staff development, and planting new campuses.
