First Update of 2023!

It’s been an eventful few months! Between retreats and Christmas parties, our staff and students have stayed occupied during the holiday season.

We had a chocolate fountain, played reindeer games, and whooshed everyone a Merry Christmas at the UTD Christmas party ☄️💫

Me and my friend Bailey dressed for festivities at the all-staff Christmas party! Bailey is a campus pastor at UT Arlington. We work together on FOCUS’ campus admin team!

Here is our staff worshiping together at our winter staff retreat! This was such a refreshing time with (almost) our entire 50-person staff. We stayed at a beautiful camp in Burnet, TX!

Our biggest FOCUS event all year is our annual Winter Retreat! Over 500 students, alumni, and members of the community came to Riverbend Retreat Center to worship God, listen to sermons, and spend time in community. I attended two Winter Retreats as a student and one last year as an alum. This was my first time experiencing it on the staff side! The camp is beautiful and the sessions were hard-hitting and relevant. I’m excited to see how God will work in these students’ lives this year!
